Expanding the Portrait
Join HCP instructors Karen Navarro, Violette Bule, Fred Agho, and Chino Angles on Monday, March 17, between 6-7:30 pm CST as they present and discuss their contemporary portraiture practices in a panel discussion with Natan Dvir. Get insight from leading portrait photographers as they delve deeper into diverse approaches to fine art, editorial, and commercial portrait photography and discuss new ways of representation.

Boris Eldagsen: Photography vs. Promptography - Friends or Foes?
In April 2023, Eldagsen turned down the Sony World Photography Awards (Open Category /Creative) and admitted that he had applied with an AI-generated image to initiate a debate about the relationship between AI-generated images and photography. The stunt became worldwide news and his image THE ELECTRICIAN one of the most famous of the year.
Join us on Tuesday, September 12, at 6 p.m. for this special free online guest lecture with internationally celebrated artist and AI expert Boris Eldagsen examining the challenges and opportunities recent technological advancements present to photography. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Eldagsen in a Q&A session following his comprehensive lecture.
