Forming a successful iconic personal style requires the intentional application of technical and creative choices while refining your techniques over time. Internationally acclaimed photographer Dina Litovsky will review personal and editorial projects focusing on the ideas of leisure, gender politics, and cultural rites and rituals. She'll also touch on new technologies of remote photography and making virtual portraits, as well as the use of creative lighting that defines her artistic signature.

Dina Litovsky is a Ukrainian-born photographer living in New York City since 1991. Litovsky’s imagery can be described as visual sociology and often focuses on subcultures and social gatherings. Litovsky is a regular contributor to National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, TIME, New Yorker, and many other leading publications. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across the world from New York and Los Angeles to Japan and Australia. In 2020 Litovsky won the Nannen Prize, Germany's foremost award for documentary photography. Other awards include the PDN 30, New and Emerging Photographers to Watch; POYi; NPPA Best of Photojournalism, International Photography Awards, and American Photography.
